Steve is doing great and was released from the hospital on Tuesday. He has already ventured out of the house and taken a walk around the block. We received a brief note through email today (Thursday) and he is dong well.

Great to hear the excellent news about you being home and doing things. I hereby award Sally an honorary nagging nurse designation so that she can "encourage" you to continue doing what the physicians and nurses order! When you're able to chuckle a bit, look at http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=87931325 (Thurs, 3/6/08 NPR, "Put your money where your girth is") and read about a professor who paid a student to nag him to lose weight. I think you'll have a GREAT recovery, just knowing the little I do about your motivation to heal, be healthy, and take care of yourself. All the best!

Steve,
You have been in my thoughts and prayers. It is so nice to hear that you are home and actually out and about. Take it easy, and follow the doctor's orders!

I feel fortunate to get the bad and good news simultaneously (who says being out of the loop is a bad thing). Heal well.
